After growing tired of several gardening services in the Toowoomba area, failing to deliver on their promises, we discovered Boileau Concierge Service. Ken is a true professional who is always happy to help. Friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable, he is constantly exceeding our expectations.

We also recently used Ken’s house minding services, during a long trip overseas, he took care of everything from our bins, garden, post and checked our house after some storms. His attention to detail and quality of service are second to none. From lawn care, hedging and pruning to finally ridding us of the persistent clover covering our garden, I couldn’t recommend Ken and BCS highly enough.

Mr Boileau has been known to me for some time. I am an elderly lady and he has been a great help to me in my very large garden. A lot of hard work and good ideas has changed it so well. It is now a lovely place to see and be in. This was no small job and it is a credit to him to change such an overgrown wilderness into a lovely peaceful place.

From the moment we were collected until the moment we were dropped back to our home, my husband and I felt like we were away on holiday. Meticulous attention to detail by Fiona and Boileau Concierge Services ensured a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Sitting high up in extremely comfortable seats with our own temperature controls, window shades and chilled bottled water we began our day. It was delightful observing the changes in vegetation as we headed south toward the New England area. We went from harsh but majestic Eucalypt, Brigalow and Belah country to the soft and pretty Poplar and Conifer country.

Our first stop was a charming little coffee shop in Warwick for morning tea; a very quirky tea house/coffee shop/gift shop all of which has been cleverly created within an old home.

Next stop was our first wine tasting experience at Kominos Wines. This was an extremely informative visit. The vintner clearly explained many aspects of wine, the importance of the right receptacle and many facts about the art of wine appreciation.

From here we were driven to the Ballandean Estate Vineyard. We were shown to a private wine tasting room. The daughter of the Estate’s founder introduced us to a variety of delicious wines and shared with us the story of the history of the Estate. She was delightful and entertaining. A delicious antipasto platter accompanied the wine tasting.

Following on from this we were led out to the vineyards for a delicious picnic with wine, we sat looking out over the grapevines. It was wonderful. I felt like I was in Tuscany!

After lunch we enjoyed a drive to two more vineyards. The first was Symphony Hill and the second was Summit Estate. It was at Summit Estate that I discovered my newest favourite drop, a delicious sparkling red! Both vineyards were quite different experiences, both very enjoyable.

After each stop, we were given a fresh chilled, lavender scented wet washer for our face, hands etc. it was so refreshing as it was quite a hot day. Throughout the day Fiona pointed out places of interest, all of which were fascinating.

As a bonus we were able to purchase bottles of the more delightful wines we tasted and bring them home with us. We were driven back to Toowoomba, reminiscing about the day and yes you guessed it! We did it with a glass or two of wine.

Excellent service for the Festival of Flowers
Mum and I did a full day tour with Fiona at the Festival of Flowers 2021. Fiona gave us a wonderful day. She has an excellent knowledge of the area and provided us with many delightful experiences. Our tour included morning tea, lunch and a special end to our day, champagne and treats, all inclusive in the price. Fiona drove us to see many gardens, private and public. We would definitely recommend her, our day was exceptional, memorable and we both loved the Festival and Flowers. Thank you Fiona. 😃😄

Fiona drove us in her very comfortable van to visit 5 private gardens and the two main public parks, Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park. She knew the gardeners whose private gardens we visited, and we were able to enjoy learning more about specific plants and flowers that piqued our interest. For lunch Fiona dropped us at Kingfishers Cafe in the Springs Garden World nursery for an hour where we selected what we wanted from the menu. The day was very relaxing because the driving, navigating and knowing what to see and where to go was all taken care of. Thank you Fiona for being our fabulous concierge!
